AI Visibility Audit

A firm can rank perfectly well and still be missing from the answer a person actually reads. This measures where a brand stands in AI answers, engine by engine, then fixes the causes at their source and measures again.

Client anonymised — screenshots redacted, figures real

A boutique plaintiff-side personal injury firm, working through The Limitless Agency on a whitelabel basis. Baseline audit in March 2026, engagement started in May, figures measured 16 August 2026 in Ahrefs Brand Radar and Site Explorer.

The screenshots are the real tool output with the brand name replaced. Every number here comes from the exported data behind them.

Ahrefs Brand Radar citations view. All platforms 8, AI Mode 8, and zero for AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot.
Ahrefs Brand Radar · citations Eight citations, all in one engine. AI Mode 8; every other engine zero.
Ahrefs Brand Radar mentions view showing a total of one mention across all platforms.
Ahrefs Brand Radar · mentions Cited as a source, barely mentioned as a brand. That gap was the diagnosis: the brand name was resolving to similarly named firms in other states. An identity problem, not a content one.
Ahrefs Site Explorer AI citations panel showing zero citations and zero pages for AI Overview, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot.
Ahrefs Site Explorer · AI citations Zero pages cited for unbranded questions. Nothing on the site was fact-dense enough to ground a general answer on.

Three things that cut against the headline. The 3.1× is measured from onboarding; from the March audit it reads 5.5×, but citations had already moved 8 to 14 before any work shipped. AI Overviews is a recovery as well as an expansion — the firm held one to two citations until March, lost them, and came back on 26 May. And Gemini went down by one while every other engine gained.
