AI Visibility Audit
A firm can rank perfectly well and still be missing from the answer a person actually reads. This measures where a brand stands in AI answers, engine by engine, then fixes the causes at their source and measures again.
Client anonymised — screenshots redacted, figures real
A boutique plaintiff-side personal injury firm, working through The Limitless Agency on a whitelabel basis. Baseline audit in March 2026, engagement started in May, figures measured 16 August 2026 in Ahrefs Brand Radar and Site Explorer.
The screenshots are the real tool output with the brand name replaced. Every number here comes from the exported data behind them.
01 — The baseline, March 2026
02 — What moved, by 16 August 2026
| Measure | Baseline audit 27 Mar |
Onboarding 14 May |
Latest 16 Aug |
|---|---|---|---|
| AI citations, all engines | 8 | 14 | 44 |
| Google AI Overviews citations | 0 | 0 | 21 |
| Daily AI impressions | 110 | 380 | 4,440 |
| Engines citing the domain | 1 | 1 | 6 |
Three things that cut against the headline. The 3.1× is measured from onboarding; from the March audit it reads 5.5×, but citations had already moved 8 to 14 before any work shipped. AI Overviews is a recovery as well as an expansion — the firm held one to two citations until March, lost them, and came back on 26 May. And Gemini went down by one while every other engine gained.
